Recently both Jess and Naomi had the pleasure of staying at the Nomad Hotel in for a short 24hrs in Los Angeles.
The Nomad hotel is an approx. 30 minutes’ drive from LAX and is located within Downtown Los Angeles. The hotel is situated near many must visit sites within LA. Including the Staples Centre, Grammy Museum LA Live, Los Angeles Convention Centre, the LA Fashion District as well as many Bars, Restaurants and shopping.
Los Angeles can sometimes be a hard place to get around if you have not hired a car. The great thing about the location of the Nomad is that the hotel is located 2 blocks away from the Purple and Red subway lines providing easy access to Hollywood and Santa Monica.
Upon arriving we were blown away with the impeccable service and the décor that the hotel has to offer. The hotel itself Is part of the LA culture as it is situated in an Historic building which was originally a bank. The hotel’s rooftop house’s many of the hotel’s features, including a pool, bar, café and cabana all with amazing views of the downtown LA area. As well as what the rooftop has to offer the hotel also houses its own Restaurant which is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as a coffee bar that also serves Pastries and other snacks.
Although there are many room types available, ranging from Superior Rooms to Corner Suites we were lucky enough to experience a Junior suite which gave us plenty of room to spread out our mountains of shopping that we did while in LA. All rooms come with a King Size Bed, Large flat screen TV, stunning terrazzo walk in showers and fully stocked mini bars.
