HA’s Business Class and Extra Comfort proving a hit with Australian travellers

Just six months after introduction of Hawaiian Airlines new lie-flat Business Class and expanded Extra Comfort seating, the airline reports its new product offerings are proving to be extremely attractive to Australian travellers ex Sydney and Brisbane.

“Both our new lie-flat Business Class and Extra Comfort seating were introduced in December last year and have quickly gained huge popularity with customers and the travel industry,” said Hawaiian’s Regional Director Australia and New Zealand, Gai Tyrrell.
“Our A330 aircraft operating Australian routes now offer 18 lie-flat leather Business Class seats delivering world class comfort and folding into 180-degree beds. Feedback has been extremely positive with guests enjoying the combination of state of the state of the art seat design, an advanced in-flight entertainment system and Hawaiian’s much acclaimed inflight service and hospitality,” she added.

“Australian travellers were also among the first to create even greater demand for Hawaiian’s Extra Comfort seating. This product is so popular that we have now increased our Extra Comfort seats from 40 to 68 per aircraft to meet demand.”

Hawaiian Airlines flies daily from Sydney and three times weekly from Brisbane to Honolulu. Fares from Australia include a free checked baggage allowance of 64kg, complimentary entertainment and drinks and meals in all cabins designed exclusively by Chef Chai Chaowasaree.
